TrueSource Order Attribution (“TrueSource”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides order attribution and analytics services for Shopify merchants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you install and use our app.

• Shop name and shop domain
• Shop owner contact information provided by Shopify
• Order information needed to link attribution responses to orders
• Customer responses to the attribution question shown after checkout
• Subscription and billing status information

We do not collect payment card data or customer login credentials.

How We Use Information

We use the collected information only to:

• Display attribution analytics and reports to the merchant
• Associate attribution responses with orders
• Operate and maintain the app
• Provide support and improve app functionality
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Data is used solely to provide the services offered by the app.

Data Storage and Security

All data is stored securely and is accessible only to authorized systems required to operate the app. We take reasonable measures to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as the app is installed and required to provide the service. When the app is uninstalled, associated shop data is deleted or anonymized in accordance with Shopify requirements.

Merchant and Customer Rights

In accordance with data protection laws (including GDPR), merchants and customers have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data.

TrueSource supports Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks:

• customers/data_request – Used to locate and prepare personal data when requested
• customers/redact – Used to delete customer data upon request
• shop/redact – Used to delete shop data when the app is uninstalled

Third-Party Services

The app operates within Shopify and uses Shopify APIs. Data handling is subject to Shopify’s own privacy policies.
